HALLOWEEN
- 31ST OCTOBER
THE DAY ATLANTIS SANK Celebrated yearly as a
dark celebration .. in the dark.. with witches, ghosts, skeletons,
skulls, bats, spiders and webs, blood, crows, graveyards, skeletons,
black clothing demonic faces carved on pumpkins. Trick or treat practice
with the the threat of trickery if you refuse to comply and give them a
treat! It is thought the practices of Halloween mostly come from Celtic paganism in the British Isles 2000 years ago, with the feast of Samhain. They believed it was the time when ghosts and spirits came out to haunt, and the Celts would appease the spirits by giving them treats. Appropriated by the early Catholic Church some 1,200 years ago.
